I will be leaving Japan to start my first year of college. The longest I was away from my home country was for 2 months.... And the fact that I won't be able to be in my own house, or walk around downtown Sanno is finally sinking into me. I'm pretty sure I will be SUPER homesick...

Don't get me wrong. I'm really excited to start college life, definitely! But still, I realized that my life is going to make a big change—a big turn—for the better, hopefully.

I've been friending lots of my future colleagues on fb, and they all seem to be super awesome people. But will I be able to survive my first semester as a college freshman? Even a month of it?? Or perhaps a week of it???

I hope I won't change too much by the time I come back during winter break. I hope my other friends don't either. And the other day we were saying how we can have a NY mini-reunion meetup and stuff... But seriously, it's easier said than done. I won't even BE in NY for college. But that's beside the point. Will we really keep in touch? I have a feeling we'll all be too busy trying to adjust to college life that we won't be able to make time for small reunions and such.

Sure, I'll make new friends in college... But once in a while you really, REALLY miss your old friends and feel the need to meet up with them and catch up. And it's gotta be in person, not by MSN or by SKYPE.

DAHHHHHHH ok I dunno why, but I'm kinda in a depressed/confused mode right now... I guess the DBSK rumors are also fueling my bad mood too.
